The New Hampshire Provisional Chapter of Hands & Voices, Northeast Deaf & Hard of Hearing Services, the Deaf & Hard of Hearing Education Initiative and the New Hampshire Department of Education would like to invite you to “Navigate Through the Education System: Considerations for Parents and Professionals of Children who are Deaf & Hard of Hearing.” Featured speakers for the conference include Tawny Holmes, Esquire and Dr. Cheryl DeConde Johnson. Ms. Holmes is the Education Policy Counsel at the National Association for the Deaf (NAD) and Dr. DeConde Johnson is the Principal of The ADEvantage, a consulting service focusing on Deaf Education and school-based audiology services.
The conference will be parent-focused, although service providers are encouraged to attend, and will include topics about navigating the educational process for Deaf and Hard of Hearing children. In addition, there will be information about how services change as children’s needs evolve over time and tools for parents and families to assist and guide their decision-making.

Registration for educators and service providers is $85 (lunch included) and payment can be made by mailing a check prior to the workshop or by calling our office to pay via debit or credit card. There is a 3% service charge if you choose to use your debit/credit card.
