On Friday October 6th- Northeast Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services, Inc. host their 17th annual Working Together Conference in Manchester, NH. This particular conference focused on different phase/transition services for Deaf/Hard of Hearing individuals from birth through adulthood.
Through this conference, there was three different presentations:
Dr. Trinidad Tellez, Director at Office of Health Equity at New Hampshire’s Department of Health and Human Services.

Ms. Karen Hopkins, Director of Early Childhood Education at Family Services and Elementary Programs at the Maine Educational Center for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing
Mr. Kevin Bohlin and Ms. Paula Collins, Project Coordinators of Transition Exploration Advocacy and Mapping (TEAM) of New Hampshire Vocational Rehabilitation and Northeast Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services, Inc.
During this conference; there was a parent panel where four different mothers shared their experiences/perspectives of different phases of transition services for their child(ren). There was also a break out session for all of the conference attendees to discuss about the needs or the successful transition programs that has been available in New Hampshire.
